Getting here

Sarek is one of Sweden’s most inaccessible national parks for anyone who cannot hike or ski in on their own. There are no roads leading up to the national park.

Naturum visitor centre

Since most of the national parks in Laponia have this inaccessible characteristic, the Laponia naturum acts as a visitor centre for all of Laponia’s national parks. In naturum visitors can learn more about all of the national parks, hike nature paths, listen to stories and get the feel of Laponia’s topography, etc.

The Laponia entrance

Visitors can also visit the Laponia entrance in Huhttán/Kvikkjokk, which has information about the Sarek and Padjelanta/Badjelánnda national parks.
